I moved into this old building I used to party in (and take part in some pretty incriminating photos) and found an old classical guitar there. Pretty beat up but still sounded good. I decided it would be a lot of fun to make an album where the seed of every song was this piece of shit guitar. From there things got a little crazy. Throw in a serialized dream-trip trilogy of tragedy set in a mythical place called "Texamexico", a lot of peyote, ghosts, two bass guitars at the same time, and some good old hopelessly sad love songs and you've got Escondido Escapade!
